This charter will apply from 14 September 2026. Developed in collaboration with the Directorate General for Enterprise (DGE), the High Committee for an Eco-Responsible Digital Sector (HCNE), French refurbishment industry stakeholders, and marketplace operators, the charter aims to promote transparent and responsible practices in the marketing of refurbished and second-hand products. To support sellers in implementing these commitments, Fnac Darty provides several practical guides. These documents are available below. Guide to the Best Practices Charter for the Sale of Refurbished Digital Devices on Marketplaces: an overview of the charter's commitments and the best practices expected from sellers.VAT Guide: information on the VAT rules and margin scheme VAT applicable to the sale of refurbished products.Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Guide: information on eco-contributions, EPR obligations, and the Unique Identification Number (UIN/IDU). Private Copying Remuneration (PCR) Guide: information on the obligations relating to private copying remuneration applicable to certain refurbished digital devices. These guides are intended to help sellers understand their obligations and apply industry best practices, ensuring reliable, transparent information that complies with regulatory requirements and the quality standards of the Fnac Darty Marketplace.
